Mahjong has been known outside of China for almost 100 years, and it is time to start writing down the history of the game.
I am compiling as many stories as possible about what the game of Mahjong means to its players, and how playing the game has changed peoples lives. Do you have any stories about the game you would like to share? Do you have a set that means a lot to you and/or your family? Did you make friends while playing the game? Did it help you when you moved into a new city or neighborhood? How many different versions of the game do you play? How do you play: on line, with friends, in a public area such as a library where you play with different people each week? How has this wonderful game effected you? Why do you love it so much? What has it done for you in your life?
I have a group on facebook:

Although it is a closed group, you can ask to join if you'd like to share a story or two. Or perhaps you would like to email me your story. You may do so to this email address
